Worksheets and Lesson Plans for modern EFL Teachers.
Why should I pay for this?
When I talk to my future clients, I get this question a lot. Even after I’ve pointed out that the monthly membership for one language school costs less than one lunch in a restaurant. Even after two months’ free membership appeared on the table – a recognition of the lazy, slow periods most schools experience. “Why should we pay you for this? Surely we can get this stuff for free somewhere, and it’s going to be just the same.”
Well – no, you can’t – and no, it isn’t. This is what I usually say to turn my potential clients into real (and committed) ones. I hope this helps to convince you as well. Basically, you pay to help a lot of people. Let’s start with the most important person:
1. You pay to help yourself. Whether you’re a one-person teaching company or a manager of a large group of EFL teachers, the rules are probably similar. You want your resources to work, and you want confidence in your teaching methods. English-plan.com gives you that – so you can worry about the myriad other things involved in your job.
Managing teaching shouldn’t be about struggling to lay your hands on scarce and flimsy resources. Pay for the solid stuff. Let English-plan.com become your source of dependable EFL materials.
2. You pay to help your teachers. We are strange creatures, we who teach. Sometimes every minute brings another great idea, and you have teachers coming in and out of the staff room yelling “brilliant” at whatever it is they’re working on. And sometimes…nothing comes. Coursebook’s dull. Or someone’s sick and the cover teacher needs lots of support, like, right now. Enter English-plan.com: a way to support your staff, motivate them to deliver better lessons, and provide a source of printable worksheets when needed. You don’t need to buy one membership for every teacher you have. Here at English-plan.com, one membership = one school. Simple.
3. You pay to help your students. This should really be number one on the list. Our printable resources help students with English vocabulary, grammar and skills – that’s for sure. But they do more than that. Many lessons you’ll find on English-plan.com encourage the class to think a bit deeper – about the way they learn, their attitude to language and to different aspects of the world. Your students are passionate about global warming? There’s a lesson for that. Your teachers think a class could benefit from some poems? Just grab a worksheet and go. Ultimately, English-plan.com helps students become more aware of their English skills – and the way they could use them in modern life.
4. You pay to help the environment. Now, this one might sound too far-fetched – until you think about it a little longer. Instead of storing all your worksheets on bookshelves, you gain access to a digital resource – saving up on paper and shipping costs. You only print out what you need – when you need it. Instead of photocopying the texts you need, you get your students to explore them online. What if all your materials could be stored online? Wouldn’t that free up space, resources and time? It should be clear by now: English-plan.com is the greener, easier way to go.
5. You pay to help the little man. This is not another publishing house trying to sell you the same stuff in a different package. It’s not a get-rich-quick plan. (Although that would be nice, too.) Most of the time, it’s one guy (me) sharing his ideas with other people – with those who care enough for good quality teaching to pay a bit more for resources that make a difference. I like it that way: it’s fun and I get to share the stuff that I know is useful. And, hopefully, pay the bills while I’m at it.
I hope you’re convinced by now. If you haven’t yet, apply for the customized demo pack by using the form on the right. I’ll send you three lessons to prove my point. And we can always talk about the money later…
